August 19 - August 25, the Public Works town dump and branch drop off areas will be closed to the public. During this time period, heavy machinery will be grinding/mulching branches and other debris in the branch drop off area. Due to the risk of wood fragments splintering, shattering, and scattering, this closure was deemed prudent for safety reasons.
Barricades and signage will be up to remind residents if they attempt to visit the dump or drop off while this work is being carried out.
The bike path between Junction Avenue and Kennedy Avenue, sections close to this area of public works, will be closed as well for this portion of work between approximately 6am and 6pm each day.
