The Town of Schererville Board of Safety seeks to hire suitable State of Indiana certified police applicants to immediately serve as police officers for the Town of Schererville, subject to all applicable state statutes and guidelines required by, the Indiana Public Employment Retirement Fund for Police Officers (INPRS).
The Schererville Police Department will be accepting applications for police officer beginning Monday April 11, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. The application must be submitted by Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. Applicants that qualify can obtain an application from the Town of Schererville website by clicking here: https://www.schererville.org.

- 2022 Probationary starting salary $54,557.36
- (2022 1st class patrolman salary $67,957.76)
- Clothing allowance $1,339.00 after first year
