Notice of Roadwork
Where: Main Street-Woodhollow Drive to Kennedy Ave
When: Tuesday September 17, 2024 – Friday October 4, 2024
Purpose: Concrete work, Road milling and Road resurfacing
Main Street from Woodhollow Drive in the Plum Creek Subdivision east to Kennedy Ave will have roadwork starting on September 17, 2024-October 4, 2024. Concrete repairs, road milling and road resurfacing will take place on both the Highland and Schererville sides of the road.
This is a project between the Towns of Schererville and Highland to replace the existing asphalt road surface.
Much of the work will occur during the night time hours of 8:00pm-5:00am, although some day time concrete repair work will occur.
All roadwork is weather dependent.
All traffic is encouraged to plan ahead in using alternate roadways to avoid the work zone and closure areas whenever possible.
