Road Closure:
Where: Burr St. from US 30 to 75th Ave, northbound lane traffic only
When: April 29, to last approx. 6 weeks
Effective Wednesday, April 29, 2020 for approximately 6 weeks, Burr St. from US 30 to 75th Ave. will be restricted to northbound traffic only. That section of roadway will be completely closed to southbound traffic.
Anyone using the west exit at Wal-Greens will be able to access the southbound traffic light. However, the Rolling Hills subdivision exit at 78th Ave. will be right turn only onto northbound Burr St.
The roadway from 73rd Ave./Joliet St. to 75th Ave. will be restricted to “Local Traffic Only”.
Detour routes for southbound traffic: From Joliet St./73rd Ave., take Cline Ave. in Schererville or Whitcomb St. in Merrillville.
