Road closure, Lake County Bridge #260
Main Street Over Hart Ditch
The Lake County Board of Commissioners through the Lake County Highway Department is notifying all public agencies and the general public that Main Street between Calumet Avenue and US 41 will be closed to traffic for the replacement of the bridge on Main Street over Hart Ditch. Main Street will be closed beginning Friday, February 15, 2019 at 7:00 am and is anticipated to reopen by Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Detour routes will be as follows;
East Bound Main Street at Calumet Avenue: Take Calumet Avenue south to US 30, US 30 east to US 41, and US 41 north to Main Street.
West Bound Main Street at US 41: Take US 41 south to US 30, US 30 west to Calumet Avenue, Calumet Avenue north to Main Street.
