Road Closure: Lincolnwood Road March 2, 2020

 

Road Closure

Where: Lincolnwood Ave. Between US 30 and 77th Ave.

When: Starting March 2nd - Approx. March 12 (All work is weather dependent)

Why: NIPSCO Pole Work

Starting approx. March 2nd and running through March 12, Lincolnwood Rd. will be closed for pole replacement. Local residents will still be able to access their homes.

NIPSCO contractors will have signs placed and crews to direct local residents daily as work zone moves along route, should have signs up informing residents which direction traffic needs to flow for the day.

Detour routes start at intersection of 77th and Lincolnwood for those going North and at intersection of Old Lincoln HWY and US 30 for those going south. Detour signs will be on site to show routes. 

Work expected to last between approx. 8am and 5pm each day.  Work North of Stephen Dr. North is expect to last 4 days (3/2/20 - 3/5/20) and work South of Stephen Dr. North to last 5 days (3/6/20 - 3/12/20). Again, dates are weather dependent.

Stephen Park entrance on Lincolnwood will be closed but visitors can still access park near intersection of Sir Gawaine and Robinhood Blvd.

Door hangers informing residents off Lincolnwood to be delivered and a CodeRED call will be sent out to them as well. 

At end of March, approx. 23rd - 25th, NIPSCO will return to Lincolnwood to hang wire on new poles. Notifications will be sent out again at this time and as more details come in.
