Where: Austin Avenue – North of Us Rt. 30 – Between Fairview Lane and US 30
When: Closure is set to begin at approximately 12:00 AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
Austin Avenue is scheduled to be closed for utility work on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at approximately midnight. This is scheduled to be a one day closure with the road re-opening before the end of the work day Wednesday afternoon. This schedule is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of heavy rainfall.
Detours: All traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes through the area during the closure. US 30 traffic will have access to Austin Avenue north of the closure by using the posted detour route of Joliet Street east to Austin Avenue. Traffic will be open to access businesses north of Route 30 (Oak Ridge Plaza, Schoop’s Hamburgers & Dairy Belle) from the north but the roadway will have a HARD BLOCK placed just south of the entrance to Dairy Belle.
