THE LAKE COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT IS NOTIFYING ALL PUBLIC AGENCIES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT 77TH AVE/NOVAK RD BETWEEN CALUMET AVE AND PATTERSON ST/ST JOHN RD WILL BE CLOSED FOR UTILITY WORK TUESDAY, APRIL 4TH AND WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5TH FROM 7:00 AM THRU 5:00PM EACH DAY, WEATHER PERMITTING.
Eastbound: at Calumet Ave and 77th Ave, take 77th Ave west to Sheffield Ave, take Sheffield south to 81st Ave, take 81st Ave east to Patterson St, take Patterson St north to 77th Ave
Westbound: at 77th Ave and Patterson St, take Patterson St south to 81st Ave, take 81st Ave west to Sheffield Ave, take Sheffield Ave north to 77th Ave.
During the periods of construction, you may encounter some minor inconveniences. However, every effort will be made to minimize these inconveniences. Detour signs will be set up to help you navigate around the project. We ask that you slow down and leave space between you and other vehicles and drive distraction-free. And always use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone.
