Redar Park occupies 9.2 acres of ground near downtown Schererville right on Austin Avenue. The parks amenities include a large shelter, restroom, a playground, a softball field, two basketball courts, drinking fountains, sand volleyball court, and a parking lot. There is also plenty of sidewalk and open grassy areas for moving around and other activities. Located conveniently near Redar Park is the Pennsy Greenway Trail and the Schererville Skate Park.
