US 30 westbound passing lane is closed to traffic starting at Kennedy Ave./Reed lane and continuing under the Rail Road viaduct near Wal-Mart/Walgreens.
Schererville was not notified by INDOT of work prior to the closures and is working on getting full details of closure. Updates will be posted as soon as possible.
Please note that previously scheduled work on 77th Ave. train tracks is ongoing and will prevent the use of that road as a detour.
Update from INDOT @ 10:30am: This work at the viaduct is scheduled for only today. Tomorrow, crews will be grinding bumps on US 30 at various locations.
