Upcoming Lane Closures Announcement
When: February 18th 7am - 4pm
Where:
- Left hand lanes along US 30 from approx. Robin Hood Blvd to just past US 41 and 30 intersection
- US 41 South bound western turn lane at intersection
Why: NIPSCO lines being replaced across US 30 just west of train tracks near Pete's Rvs.
On February 18th lanes along US 30 and US 41 will be closed to traffic for NIPSCO wire replacements.
The left lane on US 30 east bound will be closed from approximately the Robin Hood Blvd intersection (near the strip mall containing El Amigo/UPS Store) to the light near Wal-Mart entrance.
West Bound US 30 left lane will also be closed during this time period starting approx. near US 41 & 30 intersection (near Jimmy Johns/Burgerhaus. signs will be posted near Pizza Hut & Round the Clock). Closure will end shortly after western side of tunnel under railroad tracks.
At US 30 & 41 intersection, southbound US 41 will see a lane closure in the far left hand turn lane. Closure starts across from Bakers Square/Dunkin Donuts area.
Signage will be posted prior to start of work. Flaggers will be located along US 30 near the railroad/tunnel to direct traffic when needed.
Lanes are expected to be open during evening hours/end of work day.
