Schererville Parks Touch-a-Truck is back!
Has your child ever asked to see a fire truck, semi-truck, or front end loader?
This is your chance to bring your child to our Touch-a-Truck event. They will have the opportunity to touch, see inside, and maybe even climb through various “big” trucks.
This interactive event begins at 11am and includes:
15 Trucks
Live DJ
Food Trucks
Crafters and Vendors
Face Painter
Bounce Houses

🚨How does parking work? Is it free?🚨
-Parking is FREE! Signs will be posted as to where you can/can’t park. PLEASE FOLLOW PARKING SIGNS. The Town of Schererville is NOT responsible if your car is towed.
*Note some parking is available a couple blocks away from the park. This event is expected to be HUGE, and we are doing the best we can to accommodate parking needs.
🤔Should I bring anything?🤔
-CASH, CASH, CASH! Not all vendors accept card!
🔇What’s with the sensory sensitive time? What time is this?🔇
-The sensory sensitive time is where there are no horns or sirens! This will be the “Quiet hours” of Touch a Truck! The sensory sensitive time is from 11am-1pm.
🔈What time is the non-sensory sensitive time?🔈
-The non-sensory sensitive time will be from 1pm-2pm! This is the time for all of those horns & sirens!
🚒Are the children able to sit in the truck?🚒
-Yes, most of the trucks/vehicles children can sit in/climb through! They will also have the chance to see inside them & touch them!
Will there be any road closures for the touch a truck event?
-Yes, Park Street will be closed the day of the event!
