#4. What form of payment is accepted?
We recommend bringing CASH to this event. Not all vendors accept debit/credit cards. There is no ATM at the park.
#5. How does parking work, is it free?
Parking is definitely free. Signs will be posted as to where you can/can’t park. PLEASE FOLLOW PARKING SIGNS. The Town of Schererville is NOT responsible if your car is towed. *Note – Some parking is a couple blocks away from the park. This event is expected to be HUGE, and we are doing the best we can to accommodate parking needs.*
#6. Should I bring anything?
We recommend a blanket or chairs to watch the movie! There are only so many picnic tables for this event and seating will run out. In addition, BUG SPRAY, we will spray the park too. COME PREPARED!!
#7. Can I bring alcohol to this event?
Alcohol is prohibited from this event EXCEPT purchased and consumed in the Family Beer Garden. Region Ale will have all your tasty drink needs!
#8. What is the entertainment schedule?

#9. I want to see Svengoolie, what does limited availability mean?
Svengoolie will be arriving for meet & greets from 7p-8:45pm. Svengoolie can only meet so many people in the allotted time he has with us. Those that are in line will receive a ticket in accordance with how many people he knows he can see per hour. Those that receive a ticket must stay in line. This ticket ensures you get to meet Svengoolie. There is NO COST to this ticket. Please be kind, courteous & patient as you wait to meet Svengoolie. We are expecting a HUGE turnout.
#10. Costume Contest Raffle?
Signups for the Costume Contest will be at the RED Schererville Parks tent.
Signups will be from 5p-8:30pm.
There will be 3 age groups: Ages 0-5, Ages 6-12, Ages 13 & Up!
All participants will fill out a Costume Contest Raffle ticket. We have found that having a raffle for the Costume Contest is the fairest and simplest. Plus it's less likely for anyone's feelings to get hurt. Drawing will occur right before movie begins. Winners must be present and will receive prize from the Red Schererville Parks tent.
We will ask to take your picture too :)
#11. Snapchat Contest
Hocus Pocus will have it's own Snap Chat filter. Want to win a prize for just snapping that amazing selfie? Participants must use the Hocus Pocus Snap Chat filter and place on the Facebook post labeled Snap Chat Filter Contest Entries (in the comments section. The contest will go from 5p-10p. We will announce the winner at the end of the movie. Winner must be present.
#12. I want to give blood. What's the requirements?
Heartland Blood Centers will be at Hocus Pocus from 5p-8pm. Eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. PHOTO ID REQUIRED. All presenting donors will receive an official NFL licensed Chicago Bears hat as a special thank you for your donation.
