Schererville PD's most anticipated event of the year is BACK!!!
National Night out returns for it's 17th year!
This year’s National Night Out will be held at Redar Park, Tuesday August 2nd, from 5pm to 9pm.
Join us for a K9 demonstration, a SWAT demonstration, a bike raffle, food vendors, tons of fun, music, an appearance by the UCAN helicopter, and we will also be giving away 500 backpacks with school supplies inside!
Any local businesses, be it a national chain, partnership, or sole proprietor, that wishes to have a booth at this year’s event, can contact Officer Zemburski at jzemburski@schererville.org, or call 219-322-5000 (ext 2322). It is no cost to the business. The event averages approximately 1500-2000 attendees every year.
This event is intended to bring businesses and residents together along with Schererville Law Enforcement for the purpose of crime prevention and awareness.
