Applications for the 2022 Fall session of the Citizens Police Academy are due today!
Registration is now open for the Fall 2022 Session of the Schererville Police Departments "Citizens Police Academy".
Classes are Mondays beginning on September 19th, 2022 from 7pm - 9pm. Classes are held at the Schererville Police Department, 25 E. Joliet St. There is no cost to attend these classes.
The curriculum includes topics such as:
- Patrol Functions
- Hand Held Radar
- Criminal Investigations
- Accident Investigations
- DUI Investigations
- Self-Defense
- Firearms
- Railway Enforcement
- Use of Force
- And more!
