Chief Patterson has been with the Schererville Fire Department since July of 1995 having entered the fire service in July of 1991. He has held the rank of Deputy Chief since January of 2005. He became Fire Chief in 2018. Certifications: Firefighter I / II, Fire Officer I, Instructor I, Indiana EMT-B, Arson, Investigator,Inspector I / II
