Governor Eric Holcomb and the Indiana Department of Transportation Commisioner announced on April 19, 2022 that 224 Indiana cities, towns, and counties received money in state matching funds for road projects through the Community Crossings grant.
Schererville was awarded $1,000,000.00 in Community Crossings matching grant funds for the 2022-1 call. Schererville submitted the following 40 segments of road to be improved using funds from the grant:
