Facade Program:
The Schererville Facade Program is focused on improving or upgrading buildings housing stores and businesses in the downtown district of town, along Joliet Street and areas in close proximity to it. A map highlighting the applicable areas can be found in the Brochure. The primary objective of the facade program is to revitalize the downtown area by bringing in new business, investment, and economic development. Building improvements should preserve and enhance the unique character of the downtown district, and provide an area that better enhances the quality of life for Schererville residents.
