Burr St. Work Continues with new traffic patterns:
Where: Burr St. between US 30 & 75th Ave.
When: Starting June 24
Traffic on Burr St. between US 30 and 75th Ave. remains restricted to Northbound Travel only.
Those travelling northbound on Burr St. will use the new southbound lane and must be careful to watch for a new traffic pattern starting Wednesday June 24th.
The entrance and exit for the Walgreens Store on Burr Street will be open for northbound and southbound. Residents will have access to the Rolling Hills Subdivision at 78th Avenue and Burr Street heading Northbound on Burr Street only.
Preferred detour routes are to use US 30 and 73rd Avenue/Joliet Street to access Cline Avenue to the west and Whitcomb Street in Merrillville to the east. Whitcomb Street will be the posted detour route.
