To celebrate Arbor Day, the Schererville Park Department has 75 tree seedlings to give away! The tree seedlings are courtesy of State Representative Hal Slager and the IDNR Division of Forestry’s Tree Seedling Program. Residents can chose from oak or hickory species with a limit of 2 seedlings per person. Stop by the Schererville Community Center, 500 E Joliet Street, on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to pick up your seedling.
