New road closure planned at intersection of Joliet St. and Austin Ave. to repair a damaged utility pole:
Tomorrow, Wednesday 9/20/17, eastbound Joliet Street between Austin Avenue and South Park Ave. will be closed from 8:30am - 3pm. Traffic will be detoured through Wilhelm Street.
Saturday, 9/23/17, parts of the intersection will be blocked at the Southwest corner to change out the pole. It is estimated there will be little to no blockage to traffic on Joliet St.
Traffic will not be permitted to turn onto Austin Ave. from Joliet St.
Please attempt to avoid the intersection during these time periods and be prepared for alternative routes as the utility pole is inspected and replaced.
