The Schererville Fest is June 5th - June 9th and there are several important road closure announcements related to it:
Road Closure #1:
Park Street will be closed from Austin Ave. to S. Park Ave from Monday, June 3rd through Monday, June 10th.
Road Closure #2:
Austin Avenue will be closed from Reiplinger Rd. to Gregory St. Wednesday, June 5th through Sunday, June 9th. This section of roadway will be closed from 12pm - 12am each day.
Road Closure #3:
Parade Route Road Closure - The Celebrate Schererville Parade will be on Saturday, June 8th at 5pm. The route stretches from the intersection of Roman Rd. & Joliet St. to intersection of Austin Ave. & Joliet St. Road blocks along the parade route will be in place at 4:30pm. The parade ENDS at the intersection of Joliet & Austin this year. It does not end at Redar Park.
Joliet St. will be closed at US30 intersection for the duration of the parade.
Joliet St. will be closed at the Cline Ave. intersection from 5pm - 8pm.
Additionally, several streets near and on the route will have No Parking hours from 3pm - 8pm. No parking signs will be placed to indicate these areas. We request residents and businesses to move vehicles off these roads by 3pm.
