Q: When & Where are the Schererville Fireworks?
A: The Schererville Fireworks are on Friday, June 30th from 5p-10:30pm at Rohrman Park.
Q: Where is parking located for the Schererville Fireworks? What time does parking begin?
A: ♿️ADA Parking is located at Rohrman Park, ADA Parking will begin at 5pm. *VERY LIMITED* (NOTE: Unauthorized vehicles parked at Rorhman Lot before 5pm will be TOWED)♿️
🚗Regular Parking is located at Illiana Speedway, Parking for that lot will begin at 3pm. Entrance is located from Highway 30.🚗
🚗South Rohrman Lot parking will be open at 5pm. *VERY LIMITED*🚗
- Please note we are always monitoring the conditions at Illiana Speedway for Parking. That area is EXTREMELY sensitive to rain. Parking for this area will continue to be updated.
Q: 🆓Is there a charge for Parking?🆓
A: Parking is FREE at all locations.
Q: Can I arrive earlier than 3pm to set up my spot for the Fireworks?
A: Unfortunately, No, Rohrman Park will be closed to the public until 5pm due to the many set up factors that are happening on July 1st.
Q: What entertainment will there be besides Fireworks?
A: The entertainment is as follows; 👯♀️Donna Brum Dancers (5:30pm)👯♀️, 🎤Live Band (Sushi Roll 6:30p-9:30p)🎤, 30 Food Trucks, Margarita & Beer Garden, Crafters & Vendors and more!!
Q: Should I bring anything?
A: Chairs, Blankets, Bug Spray, CASH and a FUN ATTITUDE!

A: Due to the size of this event we ask that pets are kept at home.
Q: Can I bring a cooler?
A: Coolers are allowed in the park. Glass is prohibited. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. ALCOHOL is ONLY allowed in the BEER GARDEN.
Q: 💲Will there be an ATM on site?💲
A: There will be NO ATM on site. Many vendors take card but not all. We recommend bringing cash if you are looking to purchase any items.
Q:🚨 Any road closures I should be aware of?🚨
A: Yes, Rohrman Rd will close at 8pm to ALL. We do this for the safety of the Fireworks spectators. There will be many walking down this road before and after the Fireworks. Rohrman Rd will also remain closed for a period of time after the event.
Q: Is there an area for drop off? If so, where?
A: Due to the size of this event, there is no drop off locations AT Rorhman Park. We advise those needing to be dropped off, be dropped off at Redar Park and walk down the Pennsy Greenway Trail. We cannot allow traffic to stop on Rohrman Rd, this is a safety issue.
Q: Illiana Speedway Parking, what do I need to know?
A: Parking begins at 3pm and ends when full. You can enter Illiana Speedway from Highway 30. There will be many parking attendants directing you to your spot. Illiana Speedway is located at 7211 W. Lincoln Highway, Crown Point. Between Cline Ave. and Harvest Dr.
***Please Note: After Fireworks, when exiting Illiana Speedway, you will only be able to go EAST on Highway 30***
Q: 🎆What time are the Fireworks?🎆
A: Fireworks begin at 9:30pm. There will be a signal when the lights go out and a single Firework warning.
Q: Who should I see if I am in need of medical attention/First Aid?
A: There will be many officers, maintenance, and parks staff on site; please grab the closest one you see. The Parks Department will be located under the pavilion next to the playground.
Q: Will you cancel if it rains? What is the rain date? Where will it be announced?
A: The Schererville Fireworks will only be cancelled if it deems unsafe for spectators and the fireworks cannot be blown off. The announcement will be made on the Schererville Parks Facebook and Schererville.org. The rain date is slated for Saturday, July 1st.
