Licenses can be purchased January 3, 2018 to March 31, 2018 at the Schererville Police Department, 25 E. Joliet Street, Schererville, IN. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It's that time of year to be a responsible owner and license your pets!
Failure to do so can result in fines of $25 to $2,500 (Ordinance #1549).
Fees are:
$5.00 - Spayed or neutered Dogs and Cats
$20.00 - Non-spayed or non-neutered Dogs
$10.00 - Non-spayed or non-neutered Cats

Town of Schererville Ordinance #1549 limits residents to owning no more than five (5) Dogs and/or Cats.
Please bring proof of current vaccines and proof of spaying or neutering. The Police Department does not keep these records on file! A $10.00 Late Fee per pet will be charged after March 31, 2017.
Failure to license could result in fines of $25.00 - $2,500.00.
